Most house washes are quoted remotely without an on-site visit, and an in-person look is available whenever you want one. Scheduling and How to Prep

We set an arrival time around your schedule. Before the day, we tell you how to prep: close your windows, and water your plants before and after the wash, especially in summer heat when the ground is dry.

Setup and Protecting What's Around the House

On arrival we confirm the areas of concern, choose a water spigot, and protect your vegetation, your pets’ areas, and any bird nests before a drop of cleaner goes down. We cool hot windows with water first so the glass is not shocked. We carry water on the truck, but we always connect to a spigot at the property, so a working water source on site is required.

The Soft Wash, Half a House at a Time

We wash and rinse one half of the house at a time, so cleaner is never left to dry on the siding. We apply professional chlorinated cleaner, the same type used in swimming pools, at low concentration and low pressure, then rinse it away with high-volume machines that move 8 or more gallons per minute and carry the loosened growth right off the surface. Stucco gets the gentle treatment throughout, wet down first and rinsed carefully.

Windows, Front Porch, and the Walkway

The wash takes in the front porch and the walkway leading down to the driveway, not just the siding. Your exterior windows are finished as part of the house wash for a bright, clear result, using our window finishing step. If you want a fuller window cleaning treatment, that comes bundled with the wash as well. Screens left in get rinsed as we go, with both sides cleaned on request.

Walkthrough and Payment

When the house is done, we go over the finished result with you and make sure it looks the way it should. Payment is taken on-site by check or cash, with credit cards accepted by exception. Once you are satisfied, we will hand you a Google review link if you are willing to leave one.

Do you soft wash, or use high pressure on my house?

We soft wash. Your siding and stucco get low pressure and the right cleaners, not high pressure. High pressure is reserved for hard surfaces like concrete, never house siding. Low pressure paired with pool-strength cleaner lifts algae, mold, and grime without forcing water behind the panels or marring the surface. Stucco in particular is wet down and rinsed gently, never blasted.

Are your cleaners safe for my plants, pets, and family?

Yes. We use pool-type cleaners at low concentration and low pressure, and we rinse with high water volume. We water vegetation before and after the wash, especially in summer heat, so your landscaping is not stressed by the cleaning. That same care extends to your pets’ areas and anything growing close to the house.

Do I need to be home when you wash my house?

Not usually, for local Madison jobs. The quote and the wash can both be handled without you there, since we quote remotely and connect to an outdoor spigot ourselves. For out-of-town customers, we ask for prepayment or that someone be present on the day of service.
