You reach our owner directly by phone, and most roof quotes get handled right there without an on-site visit. We ask about the roof, its surface type, its size, how much growth there is, how steep it is, the access, and anything near the roofline like flower beds, and we build the quote from that. If you’d rather have someone come look in person, we’ll do that too. There’s no charge for the quote either way, and you’re welcome to look over our website and Google reviews to get a feel for how we work.

Scheduling and Prep

We set an arrival time around your schedule and tell you how to prep beforehand. If your roof clean is bundled with a house wash, we wash the house first so the roof gets cleaned in the right order, and if your gutters are due, it’s a good time to add gutter cleaning to the same visit. We’ll also tell you straight up front which roofs we’re set up to clean safely, so you know exactly what to expect before we ever arrive.

Protecting the Landscaping

Before we apply anything, we account for the plants and flower beds near the roofline. We use a neutralizer and direct the runoff away from your plantings so the landscaping comes through the job unharmed. For insurance reasons we work from ladders. We don’t walk the roof.

The No-Pressure Soft Wash

We apply a professional chlorinated cleaner, the same pool-type cleaner at a low concentration, at low to no pressure from ladders, following shingle-manufacturer standards. On shingle roofs we leave the cleaner and the weather to remove the growth instead of rinsing it off on site, which gives it more time to kill the moss. Rubber-membrane roofs get the gentlest treatment of minimal pressure and careful hand work.

The Walkthrough and Finish

When the work is done we walk it with you, confirm you’re satisfied, and explain what to expect as the treatment keeps working over the days that follow. That final check is the finish we’d want on our own homes, and if you’re happy with the result we’ll share a Google review link.

Your roof keeps clearing for a while after we leave. On shingle roofs we let the cleaner keep working rather than rinsing it off on site, so the growth lifts over the following days as the chemical and the weather finish the job. That extra dwell time is what kills the moss at the root and lets us clean without high pressure. If any regrowth shows the following year, our free retreat has you covered.

No. For insurance reasons we work from ladders rather than walking the roof surface. The low to no-pressure cleaner is applied from ladder access, which protects both our crew and your roof, and we don’t take on roofs that are too steep or too high to reach safely.

We protect your landscaping. Before we start, we use a neutralizer and direct the runoff away from your plantings, so the beds near the roofline come through the job safe. Roof-cleaning runoff can harm plants, which is exactly why this care is built into every roof job. We plan each job so your flower beds stay protected from start to finish.

Usually not for local jobs. The quote and the work can both be handled without you there. For out-of-town customers, we ask for prepayment or that someone be present on the day of service.
